Just thought I would share some exciting news! I am officially heading to England for an 11 month volunteering exchange.My interviews are complete and all that's left is a group meeting briefing me for my departure at the end of August.Eek! such exciting thing for me.I can wait to enjoy a new culture with new people and view others outlooks on life.I also get to work with kids with disabilities and help them with their everyday lives which is going to be such a neat experience ,as I want to become a nurse after this trip of a lifetime.Something so good about this adventure for me is that I will get breaks so I can travel all through Europe seeing so much history and landmarks I only dreamed about before this opportunity came.I am looking forward to this so much and many say its silly to take a year off before going back to school, but I feel as though it will be a refreshing, positive and helpful break for me before I get my head back in the books!

Yesterday I was feeling inspired when I was playing guitar and began to write what came out of my mouth with each strum of a chord.And surprisingly it all worked pretty well together.So after another hour of smoothing out all the chords lyrics and chorus, I think I have finally completed my very 1st song!Such exciting news for me.My lyrics tell a story of falling out of love and the person is figuring out what they want in life and making decisions for them finally.Not too sure how my mind decided to go in that direction but I really like it.Its a slower song with a really pretty chorus and I am hoping to record it on my computer later on this week so you guys will be able to hear it.
